WILLIE SAILER FAMILY
Willie Sailer was born on May 5, 1887 in South Russia and came to America at the age of 16
with his parents, David and Lousia Hilz Sailer, along with brothers Christ, Carl, Andrew, John,
Fred, Benjaman and sister Lousia, Mrs. John P. Junker.

The David Sailer family settled in Eureka, S.D. for a period of six months. Then they moved to
North Dakota in 1904. Willie homesteaded 120 acres Section 26, Township 137, Range 91 in
1910 south of Antelope.

He married Magdalena Eissinger at Wishek, N.D., Jan. 27, 1913. They had three children: Clara,
Mrs. Paul Rehling, born on Nov. 12, 1914, married in 1940, living in Hebron. They had three
children: Victor, Donna and Kenneth. Ernest was born on Aug. 6, 1917, living at Glasgow,
Mont. They have two children: Ronald and Willard. Alvin was born on March 20, 1927. He
married Gladys Hanson, Dec. 8, 1975 and they are living on the original homestead.

Willie passed away on June 13, 1950 at the age of 63 and Magdalena died on May 28, 1957 at
the age of 65.
