CHRISTOF LUITHLE
Christof Luithle was born March 23, 1914 to Karl and Elizabeth Fischer Luithle in a sod house
23 miles southeast of Richardton. He grew up and attended country school about one mile north
of his home. He lived most of his life on the same farm, (32-137-91) except for 12 years when he
and his family lived on the Henry Luithle farm.

Christof was married on March 9, 1939 to Adeline Will. To this union were born one daughter,
Anna, and two sons, Christof C. and Lenard.

Adeline Will Luithle was born in 1917 to Christian and Christina Schneider Will. They lived on
a farm about 11 miles southeast of Antelope from 1905 to 1942 when they moved to Hebron.
Christof was well known in the community, as he did veterinary work and also witched for water
wells for friends and neighbors. Christof and his brother, Cornelius, operated the farm as a
partnership until 1960, when Cornelius sold his share to Christof and moved to Hebron. Christof
continued farming until his death. He passed away in March, 1967 at the age of 53 years.

Adeline is quite a gardener and flower-lover and one of her hobbies is exchanging irises with her
friends.

Christof C. and Lenard are now operating the farm as a third generation, raising grain and
Hereford cattle. They live there with their mother. Anna lives in Bloomington, Minn.
