TONY JILEK FAMILY
Tony was raised on a farm five miles north of Dickinson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Jilek. He married Marjie Rambousek, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton J. Rambousek, who farm 16 miles northwest of Dickinson, in 1954. The same year they moved to the Versippi area. They purchased the Wm. Ficek farm. They were active dairy and grain farmers until the winter of 1967, when fire destroyed their barn and some of the dairy cows. They had no place to milk so they tried raising beef. In 1971 Tony rented out the farm and took a job driving truck for Fisher Sand and Gravel. The family continues to live on the farm.
Tony and Margie have three children: Gary who is married to the former Roberta Vogel. They have one son, Dustin and live in Dickinson, where Gary operates a cattle trucking business. Linda, a senior at Dickinson High School and Kay Ann, a fourth grader in the Trinity School system.
