E. E. INGOLD FAMILY
The E. E. Ingold family came to Taylor, N.D. in 1912. Ernest Ingold was manager of the Farmer's Elevator from then, till 1940 when he became ill and his son, Raymond, took over the manager's position. They had five sons and one daughter; Wade, Charles, Glen, Raymond, John and Frances. They are all deceased except John, living in Underwood, N.D. and Frances, who resides with her husband in Wisconsin.
Raymond married Betty Lou Robertson in 1941 and they had four children; Jerry, with the U.S. Air Force, residing with his wife and two children in San Antonio, Tex.; Dwight, Denver, Colo.; Cheryl, teaching in Phoenix, Ariz.; Robert, wife Adeline and son Justin reside in Manning, N.D. where he was appointed to the position of sheriff, April 1, 1977. Raymond passed away 1968 but Betty Lou still resides in Taylor. All of the boys except Raymond were in some branch of the service during World War II and Frances was in as a registered nurse.
