ED DVORAK FAMILY
Mr. and Mrs. Edward J. Dvorak were married, 1941, at Dickinson, N.D. Edward's father, Frank Dvorak, was a pioneer, and as a young man worked on several farms in the New Hradec area. He married Anna Pitrle at New Hradec and they began farming on Sec. 7-138-96, about seven miles south of Dickinson. They were the parents of 10 children. They were; Louis B., married to Julia Svoboda; Lillian (Sister Augusta); Minnie (Mrs. Frank Privratsky); Albert, married to Emma Fisher; Edward J. married to Anna Pavlicek; Pauline (Mrs. Louis Hondl); Frank died in 1942, age 22; George, married to Dorothy Marsh (died 1975); Mary (Mrs. Tony Sevela) and Victor, married to Rose Schmidt.

Mrs. Edward J. Dvorak (Anna Pavlicek) was the daughter of Emanuel and Mary (Fisher) Pavlicek of Dunn County. She had four brothers and three sisters. They were; Emil, married to Beatrice Barta; Emma, married to Harry Semerad; she died 1944; Tony, married to Leona Fisher; Beatrice married Vincent Ridl; Edward; Isadore, married to Emma Privratsky; and Evelyn married to Tony Gerber.
Following their marriage, the Ed Dvorak's lived in Dickinson. Ed worked in the Binek's coal mine for four years. Then they farmed with his parents for some time and in 1945 bought their own farm, the south half of Sec. 10-140-96, where they farmed until 1975. Presently they live in Dickinson.
