VICTOR ROHR FAMILY
Victor Rohr, son of Anton and Anna Herr Rohr, was born on a farm north of Gladstone on Sec. 140-94, attended rural school in Alpha District and Gladstone High School. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II for four years. He was discharged in spring of 1946 and started farming in Dodge and the Golden Valley area.

Oct. 1946, in St. Thomas Church, he married Barbara Krous, Gladstone, daughter of John and Rose Lantz Krous. In the spring of 1948 they rented the Paul Dahlke farm in Dunn County, eight miles north of Gladstone, Sec. 35-141-94, which they bought a few years later. In 1960 they also bought Sec. 20-140-94, the original Rohr home place.

They have four children: Lonie, Lilah, Lanel and Lanet.

Lonie is a graduate from Gladstone High School. On April 3, 1970, he married Donna Ficek, daughter of Pete and Mary Huschka Ficek, from New England. She graduated from St. Mary High School and Jack's Hair Style of Bismarck. Lonie and Donna have a four year old son Tracy. Lonie is farming in partnership with his father.

Lilah is a graduate of Dickinson High School and is a licensed practical nurse and is now working in the Dickinson Hospital. On May 3, 1973, she married Myron Auch, son of Ted and Anna Heinle Auch of Dickinson. He is a graduate of the Dickinson High School and is working as a carpenter with the Auch's construction. They have two daughters, Tammy 19 months and Laura two months. They live six miles north of Gladstone on the Albert Rust farm.

Lanel is a junior at Trinity High School of Dickinson.

Lanet is a fifth grader at Gladstone elementary. They both are organists and guitarists for the St. Thomas Church of Gladstone. They are all members of the ā€œ Rocking R'sā€ orchestra.
