MR. AND MRS. CHRIST OSS
Christ Oss came to the United States from Norway in 1897. Mr. Oss spent several years in Montevideo, Minn. It was in Montevideo that he met and married Senna Erickson. They were married April 29, 1906 in Montevideo. Mr. and Mrs. Oss left Montevideo in 1907, and they moved to Taylor, N.D. They had their few precious belongings shipped to Taylor by train, including their cows, horses, machinery, and the top buggy. They took up a homestead of 160 acres, eight miles north of Taylor, E Vi Sec. 32, Twp. 141, R. 93, where Mr. and Mrs. Oss remained for the rest of their lives. They had two children, Mary, (Mrs. Harry Olson), and Clarence.

Clarence married Amanda Sayler from Underwood, N.D. on Feb. 27, 1934. Clarence and Amanda resided with Christ and Senna on the family farm. Mary Oss married Harry Olson and they had four daughters: Sarah, Mrs. Maynard Helmer, Livingston, Mont.; Vera, Mrs. Herbert Nagel, Jamestown, N.D.; Ethel, Mrs. Larry Lian, Irving, Tex. And Harriet, Mrs. Jim Davis, Dicksinon, N.D. Clarence and Amanda Oss have one daughter, Mae, who resides with her family in Victoria, Tex. They have three children, Scott, Todd and Simone. Her husband Robert is the general manager of Radio Station KWBY in Edna, Texas.

Mrs. Christ (Senna Oss) preceded her husband in death, May 10, 1939. Mr. Oss died April 24, 1956. Mrs. Harry (Mary) Olson died August 5, 1973. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Oss and Harry Olson reside in Taylor, N.D.
