NICEODEMUS BERGER
1924, Niceodemus Berger ana Annn Burger Roll were married and lived for awhile in the house that is now owned by Richard Kickul, later bought and moved into the Henry Hecht house. 1926, he built and opened a general store in Taylor as a grocery, cream buyer and gas. He also cut the meat up in the store for the counter and had a big cooler in basement in the store to keep the foods that needed to be kept cool. He also hauled grain for the farmers taking it to Emerson, Dickinson and Richardton to have it milled into flour.

They had two children, Anna and Niceodemus Jr. Mr. Berger passed away December 1933. 1934, Mrs. Berger discontinued the grocery and tried the saloon business for a few years and then sold the building which now, I believe, belongs to the V.F.W. As the children married and left home Mrs. Berger remained in Taylor until 1960 and visited her children until she passed away 1963.
