T. F. MURTHA
T. F. Murtha, attorney-at-law, was born in Cresco, Ia., in 1878. He graduated from the law department of the University of Minnesota in 1901, and became a practitioner before the bar in Gettysburg, S.D. In 1906 he came to Dickinson and has here established an enviable reputation for himself in this profession. Elected to the office of states attorney for Stark County in 1910 he won immediate favor by his able and consistent service. Re-elected in 1912, he solidly justified the faith and confidence placed in him by the voters of Stark County. Attorney Murtha believes in Dickinson and Stark County, and they believe in him. As an able practitioner, he has shared liberally in the progress and advancement of this community, the opportunities of which are a commanding choice in the state.
Editors note: T. F. Murtha's grandson, Thomas F. Murtha, now practices law in Dickinson as did his father, T. F. (Francis) Murtha.
