THE ANDERS CHRISTENSEN FAMILY
Anders Christensen was born Nov. 28, 1889 at Taylor. He married Emma Anderson Nov. 1, 1916. They farmed south of Taylor. They lived on the Anderson homestead south of Taylor, Sec. 10, T. 139, R. 93. Besides being a farmer, he was also a carpenter. 1946, they moved to Billings, Mont. There Anders worked as a carpenter until retirement in 1959, due to illness. He passed away March 18, 1960. Emma is living in St. John's Retirement Home, in Billings, Mont. at present. They had five children.
Clifford was born Nov. 16, 1918. He moved to Billings, Mont. where he later married Clara Grue. They have four boys. Richard (wife Carol) is detective on the Billings Police Force and lives at Park City. Their children are Vince and Monica. Larry (wife Melissa) is a chef and lives in Livingston, Mont. They have two boys. Rodney is a student at Eastern College and Neal is a student at West Hi in Billings. Clifford owns a trucking firm and hauls concrete products. Clifford and Clara are living in Billings.
Duane was born Sept. 18, 1920. He married Margery Helgeson in 1943. They lived south of Taylor, helping his dad on the farm, then moved to Dickinson for a short time before moving to Taylor in 1945, and worked in the Texaco station and machine shop as a mechanic. They moved to Billings, Mont. 1956 and went to work for Montana Sulphur & Chemical Co. They have four children. Charlene was born April 14, 1944. She graduated from Billings West Hi and married Dale Zaske. They are living in Colestrip, Mont. Dale is on maintenance for Long Construction. They have three children; Lynette, Jeff and Doug. Denver was born March 30, 1945. He went to school in Taylor for four years and graduated from Billings West Hi, and married Cindy Eleson. They have three girls; Kimberly, Lisa and Shelly. Denver works for the Billings Fire Dept. They live in Billings, Mont. Lynda was born May 23, 1946. After three years of school in Taylor, and graduating from Billings West Hi she married Dexter Eaton. They have three children; Dexter, Colerre and Tanya. Dexter is an electrician and is self-employed. They live in Juliet, Mont. Kean was born Feb. 27, 1955 in Richardton. He attended 12 years of school in Billings and graduated from Billings West Hi. He married Diane Fischer July 29, 1977. Kean works for Montana Sulphur & Chemical Co., Billings. They live in Billings.
Betty Jane was born July 28, 1924. She graduated from Taylor Public School, and worked at S&L Department store. She married William Janssen January 1945. Bill is a cattle buyer for Swift Packing Co. at present time. They live in Litchfield, Ariz. They have one daughter — Claudia born January 1946. She graduated from Boise, Idaho High School. She is married and has two children. They live in Oklahoma.
Sherwood was born Sept. 16, 1929. He graduated from Taylor Public School in 1947, moved to Billings and went to work for MP Co., and married Betty. They have two boys — James and Frank. Sherwood is an engineer for Montana Power Co. They live in Billings, Mont. James married Ann Nelson and they live in Iowa. He graduated from Ames Iowa University. Frank graduated from Billings West Hi and also graduated from University of Montana in Bozeman and is working fro Proctor & Gamble. He lives in California.
Harlow was born Oct. 12, 1934 and graduated from Billings High School, went to work for Mountain Bell and is an engineer for Mountain Bell. He was married to Sherry and has two girls, Paige and Kelly. He is living in Billings, Mont. Paige was born 1955, graduated from Billing West Hi, and is working for Western Bank of Billings. Kelly was born 1959, graduated from Billings West Hi. She works at the Rimrock Mall for Clowntown Toyshop. She lives in Billings.
