ADAM AND CECILIA HAUCK
Adam and Cecilia (Bosch) Hauck came to Canada from Crimea Colonies in Russia, with their younger children Mike and Clementine on Dec. 12, 1911. They spent two months in Macklin, Canada then moved and established their home in Richardton until their death. In Richardton they bought the Pfau house made out of railroad ties and lived in this for one year. Then had a new home built in 1912 by Adam Mischel. In 1944 it was sold to John Hauck and now is owned by Joseph Dick 304-4th St. N., ichardton, N.D.
Adam was born in Russia on Feb. 17, 1858, reaching the age of 70 years and died Feb. 17, 1928. Mrs. Hauck was born May 11, 1862 and died April 20, 1944, at the age of 82 years.
Their oldest daughter, Elizabeth, married and stayed in Russia. Their oldest son, John, came to the United States in 1902, the second son, Simon, arrived in the United States in 1903. The third son, Alex, arrived on May 17, 1911 together with his brother Anton and two of their cousins, John and Simon Bosch, who went to Alberta Province in Dominion of Canada. The fourth son, Balthauser, came to Canada on Dec. 5, 1910. The fifth son, Vincent, came to Canada on April 12, 1911 and in the same year on June 26 he arrived in the United States. Vincent came to be with his brothers John and Simon as they preferred to live in North Dakota. In 1915 Alex Hauck left Canada and also came to North Dakota. Balthaser also came to the United States leaving Canada and is located in the vicinity of Richardton.
John Hauck — 1881-1965 had six sons and six daughters and lived at Richardton, N.D.; Simon Hauck — 1883-1965 had eight sons and four daughters and lived at Bodo Alto, Canada; Alex Hauck — 1884-1961 had seven sons and five daughters; Balthaser Hauck — 1888-1962 had four sons and six daughters and lived at Milwaukee, Wis.; Vincent Hauck — 1890-1967 had two sons and five daughters and lived at Richardton; Anton Hauck — 1895-1960 had fourteen children and lived at Bodo Alto, Canada; Mike Hauck — 1896 has three daughters and one son, lives at Richardton; Clementina Hauck Flink — 1900-1942 had three sons and one daughter, lived at Auburn, Wash.
