GEORGE AND BEATA (HEIDT) OLHEISER
They were both born in Russia. George was born Oct. 25, 1894. Beata was born March 29, 1897. They both came to the U.S. by ship. Beata came to the U.S., 1899 and George came, 1911. When George and Beata were married, Ray (Beata's brother and Veronica (George's sister) were also married. Their marriage ceremony was performed by Fr. W. F. Hake, Nov. 21, 1916 at St. Joseph's Church, Dickinson, N.D. George and Beata had a family of 15, six sons and nine daughters. All of them married; except Agnes, who is employed at St. Joseph's Hospital, in dietary, as cook.

There are six sons. Joseph and Catherine (Dukart) have a family of six, one died. Ralph and Irene (Reisenauer) have a family of 12. George and Mary (Fichter) have a family of six. Christ and Martha (Bren) have a family of five. Anton and Alice (Dassinger) have a family of three. Aloyouis and Catherine (Samson) have a family of two.

The married daughters and their families are: Otillia and George Urlacher have a family of four; Regina and Anton Kuntz have a family of nine, one died; Barbara and Louie Weiler have a family of eight; Leona and Mike Reisenauer have a family of six, one died; Rose and Clarence Kitzen have a family of two; Beata and Anton Schwindt have a family of four; Geneiveve and Douglas Frisbee have a family of four. Cecilia and Donald Samson have a family of two.

The couple lived on a farm, 14 miles southwest of Dickinson. They had settled in the Scheffield community, St. Pius Catholic Church. Their children went to Wild Rose Public School, three miles east from their farm. The farm was owned by John and Otillia (Schmidt) Olheiser. When John died (George's dad) they got the farm. They lived on that farm for 39 years.

They moved to Dickinson, 1955. Their home address was 444 St. South West. June 11, 1966 they celebrated their 50th anniversary, with family and friends. The mass was performed by Monsgr. Geore P. Aberle, at St. Joseph's Church, Dickinson. A lunch was served at their home and supper was given at the Queen City Club.

Beata passed away Oct. 23, 1966 and Oct. 13, 1969 George passed away.

George came from a family of 11, three brothers and seven sisters. His brothers were: Joseph, Mike and Martin. His sisters were: Marian, who stayed in Russia, married; (Rose) Sister Arcadia; Johanna Erhardt); Catherine (Himmelspeck); Emma (Frenzel); Veronica (Olheiser) and Celestine (Kuntz). George's parents were John Olheiser and Otillia Schmidt.

Beata came from a family of 13, eight brothers and four sisters. Her brothers were: Ray, George, Christ, alph, John, Harry, Nick and Jerome. Her sisters were: (Celestine) Sister Leonder; (Agnes) Sister Crispina; Eleoner (Johner) and Rose (Dukart). Beata's parents were Ralph and Barbara Brinster-Heidt.
The farm of George and Beata Olheiser was surrounded by hills and a creek. The land was worked mostly with horses. On the farm they raised cattle, hogs, poultry and crops.

The first car was a Model T. which they had owned.
